Betsy Damos

Betsy Damos's sculpture reflects her concern for the natural environment, expressing fragility, precariousness and the complexity of issues such as urban sprawl. Mixing soft and hard edged material, she sometimes draws upon her textile background to utilize handwoven elements combined with drawing, poured concrete and working with wood.
