In the theater of life, we, as actors capable of rational free will, are confronted with a broad range of topics while walking the daily line between observation and participation. Photography is the threshold from which I manifest my visual process and experience as a member of a subversive youth culture ubiquitous, but not exclusively dedicated, to New York City. Gender, intimacy, and livelihood are amongst the themes addressed in my work and are intended to inform and provoke. My use of the photographic medium for all current intents and purposes is to sustain a mutual justification between aesthetic and thought. I use the formal and informal properties inherent in the vocabulary of both black and white and color images to suit my goals in addressing presence and process in creating my images.
