About the Artist

Russell U. Richards is a Charlottesville, Virginia- based artist who has worked in the past primarily in printmaking, developing multi-plate color methods in etching and in lithography, for which he received the Virginia Commission for the Arts Grant in 2002. His current focus is on painting techniques utilizing diverse media such as oils, inks and watercolors. He is also actively exploring the medium of lenticular holograms.
