About the Artist
Maureen O'Brien was raised by nurses and Nuns. She received her painting degrees from Carnegie-Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA. For this reason she always gives a nod out to Andy W. Many private and corporate collections included her canvases. In her Washington D.C. studios she has taught painting for 28 years. Her extensive collections of waterlogged books contain over 2,000 drawings and paintings of her passions...left behind teenagers, forgotten relics and lurking dangers. Her themes house her constant discoveries of spiritual connections and odd associations. Maureen's home/studio has been published many times because of its museum-like magic.
