Jim Mott
About the Artist
Jim Mott is a self-taught fine art photographer who has lived in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware full time since 2003. Prior to that Jim lived in Landenberg, Pennsylvania and worked in the chemical industry for over 15 years. During that time Jim used the camera solely to document his professional work and to capture family memories. Jim found himself in Rehoboth following a mid-life course correction that included leaving industry, possibly for good. With his path uncertain he was drawn to using his camera to capture more creative and aesthetic images. With the encouragement of friends and professional mentors who seemed to serendipitously cross his path he has become more and more serious and confident about creating his art.
