Bill White
About the Artist

American born and living in Mexico, Bill White studied color and spatial relationships with Charles Emerson, student of Josef Albers, at the Academy of Realistic Art, in Seattle, but is mostly self taught. He has  worked as a commercial portrait artist both in Mexico and the United States, and is also a masterful photographer, which has enhanced the detail in his work with the nude model. Bill's fondness for drawing goes back to his childhood. One of his idols was the famed illustrator of the New York Post, Norman Rockwell. While still an adolescent, Bill sent him his portfolio, and Rockwell graciously responded with a personal letter. Mastery of the visual form in oil is Bill White's objective.
